About Me
Hi! I am Elizabeth Jackson, founder of LizTutors. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at Emory University.
As the oldest child of parents who did not attend college in the U.S., I had to navigate much of the academic process on my own. From preparing for standardized tests to managing challenging science courses and the college application process, I learned early on how important structure, guidance, and support can be. Those experiences now shape the way I work with students and families.
At LizTutors, we offer educational counseling and structured weekly academic programs that help students build confidence, improve scores, and navigate the college process. I have delivered over 300 hours of personalized instruction in biology, chemistry, ACT and SAT preparation, AP coursework, and college essay writing. Students I have worked with have achieved measurable score improvements, including an average increase of 50 points on the SAT, and successful admissions to highly selective colleges.
My approach emphasizes clear goals, data informed strategies, and supportive guidance, which has resulted in strong outcomes and continued five star feedback from families.I would love to connect and talk through how LizTutors can support your goals!
